Kim Peralta studied drums at the Havana Music School in Cuba from 2017 - 2020 under Alejandro Aguiar Rodriguez. From 2021 - 2024 she was a member of the SUNY Orange Jazz Ensemble. In 2024 she left the ensemble to strike out on her own and currently plays in several projects, including the Blue Hearts Jazz Group, Hudson Valley Jazzwomen and Upstate Swing Quartet.
