Kim Peralta studied drums in Cuba at Havana Music School from 2018 - 2021 under Alejandro Aguiar Rodriguez. In 2021 she joined the SUNY Orange Jazz Ensemble, striking out on her own in 2024 to play in various combos, including Hudson Valley JazzwomenBlue Hearts Jazz Group, Upstate Swing Quartet.
