kim peralta, drummer and founder of Hudson Valley Jazzwomen and Blue Hearts Jazz Group, trained in cuba from 2018 - 2021 with congero/drummer Alejandro Aguiar Rodriguez. From 2021 - 2024 she performed with the SUNY Jazz Ensemble under professor chris Parker. Both The Hudson valley Jazzwomen and The blue hearts jazz group appear in different configurations, most frequently as quartets and trios. In addition to spearheading her own projects SHe now plays with various jazz bands in the hudson valley and beyond.
